Snowflake Database Replication and Failover

Further, in the event of a huge outage that even disrupts cloud services in a given region, customers with the help of Snowflake Database Failover can fail over databases to an available region or cloud provider, thereby guaranteeing continual seamless operations.

An advantage of replication to Snowflake is that the services occur in real-time and the time taken for data recovery does not depend on the volume of data. In case of a disaster in one region, businesses can instantly access and control Snowflake data that has been replicated in a different region or cloud service.
